J-PAL Optimizations

Povertyactionlab.org serves many audiences including donors, researchers, and press. J-PAL was celebrating it’s 20th anniversary during my tenure with them which lead to the creation of several new pages and elements.

Research Resources

A reorganization of both external and internal resources led to new functionality. To meet external expectations as well as elevate our internal recourses we generated a new template to promote resources equally.

 

Resource ToolKit

To accommodate a growing need for toolkit templates, I explored competitor sites and held team discussions on needs and scalability for the creation of this new product. I drafted the design and through multiple iterations launched the current page which has built in taxonomy capability.

 

Microsite Templates

During our global 20th anniversary celebration our seven regional offices wanted to share there impact over the years for existing and prospective donors. Southeast Asia at 10 is the first example of one of these anniversary templates.

 

Creation of the Harvard Online Brand

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator for Harvard Online, I created beautiful and useable templates, SEO-driven web copy, blogs, and learner engagement materials for increased web visibility.

In October of 2021, we embarked on creating a new home for our courses. Working on a razor-thin timeline of 4 months, I oversaw the site build. From discovery to design to launch, I managed the project and worked with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure we made our deadline.

Wireframe Designs

Working with course and programatic colleagues, I created wireframes for all pages with a focus on UX for our course pages. These pages function as the main information source for all potential learners and provide a critical opportunity for enrollment conversion. Iterating on multiple versions to ensure stakeholder buy-in, we were able to implement my final wireframe design successfully.

Learner Stories

Harvard Online learners span the global and come from a variety of educational experiences. To celebrate those Harvard Online learners here and abroad, I created a video collection process for learner testimonials. These testimonials were used in email and social promotion as well as product design for future course creation.


Warren for President Store Optimizations

Beginning in late September 2019, oversaw a major site redesign and strategic overhaul for shop.elizabethwarren.com. After the implementation of these optimizations the online store saw increases in conversions across the board, including a120% increase on overall sales.

Working closely with UX/UI designers and our development to to implement a new color palate and layout for the store. Metrics provided the information for the most useful category/subcategory layouts based on conversion of products and promotions.

The addition of a two part contribution module at customer checkout lead to increased AOV and over 500k in revenue (without overhead expense).


Thule eCommerce Enhancements
